Eva Mendes was born in America. She's an American model, actor and a performer. Talent agents discovered her talent and convinced her to go after a career as an actor or model. After some thought, she dropped out of the university to enter the entertainment industry. Her debut was in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, but she wasn't thrilled with the way it turned out. She put in a lot of effort to improve her acting abilities and appeared in numerous low-budget films in order to demonstrate her talents.
